The Board of Directors and Mrs. Tanya Goodman are saddened to announce the passing of Founder and CEO, the Rev. Dr. Wayne Goodman. He passed away on November 12, 2023. The Recovery Community is deeply saddened by this loss; however, our hearts are full of memories and a desire to honor his legacy.

We are a group of inner-city professionals that work hard to stabilize men and women seeking recovery.

Our clients come from jails, treatment centers, and sometimes, off the streets. They are seeking a new way of life, and the transitional housing program lets them begin stabilization.
